Over 50 years ago, we created the original Panellift® Drywall Lift, and it remains the premier drywall lift in the world, constructed to the highest standards to guarantee superior quality.

We built all this on tradition and family values at a time when a handshake was the preferred way of doing business and have updated and improved our manufacturing processes along the way. We’re problem solvers, we care about every detail, and we hold ourselves accountable. Early 1970's

Invention of the Drywall Lift

Roland Young invents the Panellift® and establishes Telpro Inc., a company to market and sell this new invention. This introduces the very first drywall lift that revolutionized construction processes. This is also when the original model 138 is created, the drywall lift that was the inspiration for many models to come.

1980- 1990's

Panellift 138-2 Invented

Panellift® 138-2 is invented, becoming the standard in drywall installation. Also known as the "OG" of drywall lifts, there have been many imitators but no one can make the same, great Panellift®. Panellift® is trademarked and a new 100,000 ft. production facility is constructed in Grand Forks, North Dakota where we are located today.

2018

Transition to Paragon Pro

Long time employees Trent Baumer and his business partners acquired Telpro Inc., renaming it Paragon Pro Manufacturing Solutions. Since 2018, Paragon Pro has been manufacturing the most innovative light construction solutions that help the pros and DIY'ers complete their projects in less time and with less hassle.

    Owner, President, CEO

    Trent Baumer is President of Paragon Pro™, the proud American manufacturer of the innovative Panellift® drywall lift. As owner and CEO, his journey with the company began at the young age of 18, and he steadily rose through the ranks, holding every leadership position on the production side before ultimately purchasing the company in 2018. Trent's deep understanding of the manufacturing process, coupled with his sharp business acumen, has been instrumental in Paragon Pro™'s continued growth and success. He is known for his driven yet compassionate leadership style, always striving for perfection while maintaining fairness and genuine care for his employees.

    Partner/Office Manager

    Elaine was also a member of the company when it was Telpro Inc. Seeing a great opportunity, she joined Trent in purchasing the company.

  • Trevor Baumer

    Partner/Accounting

    Trevor has worked for the company for many years. When his brother asked if he would join the endeavor, he decided to become an ownership partner of Paragon Pro too, ensuring that even though new ownership was in place the family atmosphere would remain.

    Director of Sales and Marketing

    Tony brings his infectious enthusiasm and deep understanding of customer needs to his role as Director of Sales and Marketing at Paragon Pro™. He is passionate about the Paragon Pro™ brand and what it represents to customers: quality, innovation, and reliability. Since joining Telpro Inc. in 2011, Tony has excelled at building strong relationships with merchants who supply tools and equipment to contractors nationwide, ensuring the Panellift® reaches the hands of those who need it most. His career path is defined by his passion for exceeding customer expectations and driving business growth. Beyond his professional achievements, Tony is known for his energetic and engaging personality.

    Seth has been with the company for over 20 years. He brings energy, knowledge and his passion for our products to every customer interaction. He’s the technical guru when it comes to the Panellift® line and the go to point of contact for help with our products.

    Production, Engineering Manager

    Jered Worden is Production Manager at Paragon Pro™, the proud American manufacturer of the innovative Panellift® drywall lift. His journey with Paragon Pro™ is a testament to his sought-after expertise in design, process development, and contract manufacturing. After gaining valuable experience outside the company, Jered was brought back to lead engineering and special projects, leveraging his unique skills to drive innovation and efficiency. He works closely with customers and the engineering department to ensure the highest quality products at the best possible price point.
