Not Sure Which Tele-Tower® to Pick? Let’s Break It Down.
If you’ve been looking at Tele-Tower® adjustable work platforms and wondering what the difference is between all the models you’re not alone. They all look similar at first glance, but each one is built for slightly different jobs.
The good news? No matter which model you choose, you’re getting solid basics:
Durable All-Steel Construction - Built tough for demanding job sites and daily use.
Hand-Crank, Winch-Driven Lift - Smooth, hydraulic-free operation with aircraft-grade steel cable.
Fast, Tool-Free Assembly - Sets up in minutes without the need for tools.
Heavy-Duty 5″ Locking Casters - Easy to maneuver; stable and secure when locked.
Made in the USA with Built-In Safety - OSHA/ANSI compliant with non-slip surfaces and a rock-solid platform.
But with five different models, how do you know which one fits your job? Here’s a quick breakdown to help you decide.
Models in Order: Ascending Order
*Working height is deck height plus approximate 7’ reach.
All models will roll through standard 36″ doorways when not extended. See full specs at Paragon Pro’s Tele-Tower® Collection.
Breakdown of Each Tele-Tower® Model
Model 1101-610 – Most Compact

· Why choose it: Lightest weight base unit, ultra-portable, ideal for quick jobs and small rooms
· Use cases: Residential maintenance, small offices, low-ceiling repairs, property management tasks
Model 1101 – Standard Base Model
· Best for: Versatile facility use where reach matters
· Why choose it: Compact, offers more height up to 18′ working height, easy to maneuver
· Use cases: Facility maintenance, including janitorial, electrical work, HVAC servicing, ceiling tile replacement
Model 1101-96 – Extended Deck Length
· Best for: Jobs requiring horizontal reach without constant repositioning
· Why choose it: 8′ long deck allows efficient movement across wide surfaces, easier positing over larger obstacles
· Use cases: Two-person jobs, lighting grids, signage mounting, drywall installation, data cable routing
Model 1101-22 – Wider Working Area, Reduced Effort Winch
· Best for: Canadian and US industry users where wider decks are required

· Use cases: Two-person jobs, commercial retrofits, Canadian job sites, any manufacturing facilities
Model 1101-2296 – Longest and Widest Platform, Reduced Effort Winch
· Best for: Large-scale or Canadian-compliant projects needing maximum workspace
· Why choose it: Lowered and torque-reduced winch, Combines the extended 8′ length and 22″ width, most spacious and versatile model
· Use cases: Gyms, hangars, warehouses, school maintenance, multi-person installs
Final Thoughts
Choosing the right adjustable work platform means matching the model to your workspace and the type of jobs you do. If you need a basic, portable platform for everyday tasks, the 610 will work well. If your work involves high ceilings, the base 1101 or 96 is perfect, however, our Canadian friends should choose from models 22, or 2296 for CSA purposes.
Understanding the subtle (but important) differences between each Tele-Tower® model ensures you’re equipped with the right platform for safe, efficient elevated work. Look for our blog about which extension accessory that works with your new Tele-Tower®.
