How To: Panellift® Cable Replacement Guide
Panellift® brand sheetrock lifts have a reputation of high quality and toughness. It's a standard we'll never compromise on. Every detail of a Panellift® has been meticulously chosen and crafted to the absolute best. The cable is no exception. We spent years perfecting the right specification that paired tension and elasticity in perfect balance. It may appear to be an ordinary cable, it isn't. Do not attempt to use any cable on a Panellift® that is not a genuine factory original part purchased from us or one of our authorized dealers. Beware of imitation parts designed for generic drywall lifts, even if they appear similar to genuine Panellift® components. While these parts may be used on lifts that resemble the Panellift® design, they lack the critical specifications developed over years of testing specifically for the Panellift®. Only a genuine Panellift® 02-05 cable ensures the correct balance of tension and elasticity, guaranteeing smooth operation, optimal load capacity, and most importantly, operator safety. Protect your investment and your safety – always use Genuine Panellift® Parts.
Operator safety is our number one priority. Inspecting the cable and pulleys before each use is required. We strongly advise any Panellift® user to replace the cable at the first sign of wear that displays
- Fraying
- Kinking
- Cuts
- Any other signs of damage (rust, unusual stretching)
We recommend replacing your cable every at least every 12 months or more depending on usage. In doing so, you will keep your lift running for many years. We still provide parts to customers with lifts decades old. With proper maintenance, a Panellift® can last nearly a lifetime.
